Burraneer Family Practice is a proudly locally owned and operated medical clinic, treating patients throughout the Shire. Established in 1993, we have earned a reputation for providing high quality medical care and personalised, friendly service in a welcoming environment.
All our male and female doctors are vocationally registered GPs and are dedicated to actively continuing their medical education by attending lectures, workshops and reading the latest medical journals. So, you can rest assured, knowing you’re in good hands.

Corona Vaccination Update

We will be resuming adult COVID vaccines to accommodate the extension of a 4th dose to anyone over 30. We will start with Thursdays from July the 21st. Appointments are open, Thursdays only at this stage. Please book online through HotDoc

Booster doses are for 16 years and over, at least 3 months after your second dose.

Government Supplied Shingrix
( Shingles vaccine )


We have received a supply of Shingrix vaccine but at present the government are only allowing very limited amounts to be ordered each month. We are trying to prioritise the most vulnerable patients but we also have a waiting list system. Please call the surgery to check if you are eligible and be placed on our list. (Eligibility includes everyone over 65, ATSI people over 50 and adults with severe immunocompromise e.g. solid organ transplant patients and active HIV.)

To ensure patient confidentiality, we ask that all patient clinical letters are encrypted These can be sent directly into the Doctor’s intray
