Dr Marisa Magiros


B Med Sc (Hons) MBBS (Hons), DCH, FRACGP

Graduated from Sydney University in 1996 with Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons), then in 2000 with MBBS (Hons). Dr Magiros worked in Orange and then overseas for 5 years including cruise ships. Dr Magiros gained her fellowship in Family Medicine in 2011. She also has a DCH (Diploma in Children’s Health) and a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Dr Magiros currently works as a Medical Educator at GP Synergy, St George After Hours and Family Planning Association at Ashfield.

Marisa completed her medical studies at Sydney University in 2000. She worked in Orange for 3 years and then overseas for 5 years, including 2.5 years as a cruise ship doctor. Marisa qualified as a GP in 2011, joining the practice during her training. Her interests include whole person care, doctor’s health, travel medicine, clinical reasoning, patient safety and medical education. Marisa also works at GP Synergy as Regional Head of Education for the Central Eastern South Western Sydney Region, training GP registrars, and casually at Family Planning NSW.

Dr Magiros’ interests are in Women’s and Children’s health, travel medicine and teaching.
