Dr Samuel Mcdowell


Samuel initially joined the practice in 2013 as a GP registrar. After gaining his fellowship with the RACGP, he stayed on at Burraneer until 2017. He graduated from Otago University in New Zealand in 2009, and spent his junior doctor years at St George, Sutherland and Albury Base Hospitals. From 2018 to 2021 he lived with his family in rural Paraguay, South America, providing health care for people with poor access to health resources. He speaks Guarani and is continuing to learn Spanish. His interests include children’s health, men’s health and infectious diseases.
