DR SOPHIE AMBRISTER

Dr Sophie Armbrister is a GP Registrar who completed her medical degree with distinction at Griffith University, following a Medical Science degree at Sydney University. She has worked in both metropolitan and regional hospitals across Australia, with broad experience in paediatrics, emergency medicine, and obstetrics & gynaecology.

Sophie is passionate about continuity of care and building long-term relationships with her patients. Her warm, bubbly nature helps create a safe, welcoming space where patients feel truly heard and supported. She values holistic, patient-centred care and aims to make every consultation informative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual-where no question is too small and no concern is overlooked.

Outside the clinic, Sophie loves travelling, music, board game nights, and getting outdoors-whether it’s hiking, playing tennis, or chasing thrills at a theme park. Her background in drama and teaching fuels her creativity and helps her connect with people from all walks of life.
