Fees Schedule

Fee Schedule from 1st July 2026

  • All consultations are timed by the Doctors and fees are scaled according to the time devoted to a consultation.
  • A standard consultation is an appointment duration of 5-20 minutes.
  • A long consultation is an appointment duration of 20-40 minutes.
  • We continue to discount our fees for all children and any patients we feel have a reduced income.
 

This involves spending time with our patients and a commitment to thoroughness. The doctors in this practice see an average 3 to 4 patients per hour. We believe we provide a quality alternative to the “high turnover”, bulk billing clinics in this area. We discount our fees for pensioners, all children and the over 75s.

 

We are no longer able to Bulk bill immunisations, including National immunisation program for babies and children. The Vaccine is funded by the Australian Government, however the time spent by the doctor will be privately charged. Please see below the list of fees payable on the day.

 

Veterans with a Gold Card and antenatal shared care visits are bulk billed. For families with more than one sick child seen on the same day, subsequent children will be bulk billed. GP management plans and health assessments for over 75’s will also be bulk billed.

 

By reducing our fees in these ways we believe our policy is fair, but please let us know if you are experiencing any difficulties.

Medicare rebates have changed as of 1 July 2026.

Saturday Surcharge: $30 per patient (no reduced fees)

These reduced fees are at the doctor’s discretion.

Telehealth Consultations

  • Telehealth consultations are privately billed.
  • Medicare restricts rebates for tele consults to patients who have been seen by a doctor for a face-to-face appointment within the last 12 months, and appointments of less than 30 mins.
  • If you do not qualify for a Medicare rebate, you are able to pay a private fee based on the time taken. (Which is not claimable from Medicare)
  • Requests for repeat scripts and ongoing referrals will need a tele consult with your doctor. Please inform staff if you require a repeat script or an ongoing referral. This may be bulk billed at the discretion of the doctor.

Fees for Our Services That Are Not Covered by Medicare

  • Excisions, procedures and dressings $30-$50 (depending on complexity)

  • Services provided by Registered nurse (without being referred by one of our doctors) $20 EG: Removal of Sutures / Ear syringing

  • Yellow Fever Vaccine $120 (please allow a minimum of 2 weeks prior to travel)

  • Report by Doctor $121 +GST Per 20 minutes

  • Medical records $1.40 per page + GST

Accounts are not issued. Payment by Cash and EFTPOS is available

Worker’s compensation or Work Injury Consultation Fees

Patients are responsible for all accounts until they provide a claim number from the insurance company. Contact details need to be provided for direct billing and payment from the insurance company.
Prior to these details being provided, the patient is to ensure payment is made on the day of consultation.
