DR JUSTIN HUNTER

Dr Hunter graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2017 and recently joined the team at Burraneer Family Practice. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has completed a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies and Bachelor of Nursing.

Dr Hunter is currently a Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Navy.

Dr Hunter enjoys all aspects of General Practice. He has keen interest in skin cancer and will be commencing the Masters of Medicine Skin Cancer at the University of Queensland in 2024.

Dr Hunter is a qualified Dive Doctor and is able to conduct recreational and professional dive medicals. In 2024 Dr Hunter will complete the Royal Australian Air Force Aviation Medical Officers Course which will allow him to be a CASA DAME within the Sutherland Shire.

Dr Hunter enjoys the challenges of keeping up-to-date with the breadth of knowledge required for General Practice.

Dr Hunter works on Thursday afternoons and every alternate Saturday Mornings.
