Practice Nurse

Samara grew up in the Sutherland Shire, graduating from University Western Sydney Macarthur in 2000.  Samara has an extensive history working in community nursing specialising in Wound Care, Aged Care and health education.  Samara comes to us from South Western Sydney where she was working in Wound Management and Prevention, participating in state working groups for pressure injury prevention and management, chronic wounds and participating in research. Prior to that she worked in community nursing at St George and Calvary Hospital.  At Calvary she was involved in the Transitional Aged Care Service.

Samara is an accredited nurse immuniser.  Samara enjoys the nursing care and patient contact that practice nursing offers.  Samara is committed to ongoing education and training having completed a number of postgraduate studies, including Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing specialising in Aged Care and Wound Management and a Diploma of Management.

. People aged 6 months and over with specified medical risk conditions
